Hand-Spun Wool Navajo Weaving by Alice Dan (#01)

22 1/2" x 17"

Alice Dan is one of those artists who draws inspiration from her surroundings. Her hand-spun weavings are of the sheep and reflect the rough and rugged aspects of the landscape upon which they dwell. Alice's weavings open a window onto the land and the experience of her people. Take a walk across the sand dunes and wander through the stunted sage and cedar with Alice and her flock. It's all here in this weaving.
