It was once reported that the image of the humped-back flute player could be found on over 700 sites in San Juan County, Utah, alone. It is also referenced in both Navajo and Hopi cultural stories. At any rate, because of the rock art imagery and other tribal interpretations, there is much speculation surrounding this cross-cultural icon of the American Southwest. When asked what his impression of the “Kokopelli” being is Robert Taylor just smiles and says, “It only matters what it means to you.” Robert’s bracelet shows exceptionally clean detail and expertly finished. That means, and Robert assures us it is so, that this is a great conversation piece and an outstanding piece of jewelry.

About the artist:

Robert Taylor

Robert Taylor - Silver & Goldsmith:
"Cluster, channel, leaf, inlay, casting... I've done about everything," Robert Taylor talks about his silver and goldsmithing, "There's a lot of artists that do it." And then he confides the reason he has set himself apart from other craftsmen. "I didn't really get anywhere until I decided to design my own style."
