Kee Yazzie is a Navajo/Hopi artist living near Winslow, Arizona. He derives much of the inspiration for his jewelry from pictograph and petroglyph panels near his home and the Navajo philosophy of following the Pollen Path. With this ring, Kee was inspired by what he calls “The Migration” design. To Kee, the design speaks of a cyclic life, an interpretation his people follow. “Many of us believe that life is a sequence in which things begin and end in a predictable rhythm. Timelines are irrelevant. It is up to us to maintain balance; the rest will fall into place and all will be well.”
