Before the process of creating these beads began, there was a great deal of work involved. The taps and dies had to be made. A really well-made set of stamps and impression blocks are invaluable to a silversmith. Even though we do not know who that artist was, we do know he/she had the right tools for the job. Because of the time and effort involved, handmade, graduated beads such as these are becoming less and less available. Called “Navajo Pearls,” these beads are special.
