This is a great, old saddle blanket from the 1950s. The weaver had to shear the sheep, clean the wool, card it, dye the wool, and then weave the rug. It is one of those labor intensive, handspun rugs woven to take the wear and tear of a horse blanket. Put this one on the floor or the wall. It is so well made and durable that it will last several lifetimes either way.
