Handspun Double Saddle Blanket
54 1/2" x 32"
This textile was woven by an unknown artist in 1970. We know that it was purchased through the Round Rock Trading Post by a collector from Belle Vernon, PA. It recently came back to the edge of the Rez through the Zolock estate. The rug is hand-spun from Navajo sheep wool in a banded style with the traditional sash belt design woven in.
