Turquoise is a copper mineral.  It is found just about anywhere and everywhere on earth where copper is formed.  The Persian Turquoise in this bracelet is from Armenia.  Armenia is a landlocked mountainous country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia situated at the juncture of Western Asia and Eastern Europe.  It is bordered by Turkey to the west, Georgia to the north, the de facto independent Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijan to the east, and Iran and the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan to the south.  This wonderful green and extremely hard turquoise was cut and set by master silver and goldsmith Eugene Livingston.  The joining of Persian Turquoise and Navajo artistry has bore a most delectable fruit.
