About the artist:
Dorothy has been making storyteller pottery since she was a teenager. She was born in 1961 to Mary Frances Herrera, a fine storyteller artist in her own right. Mary Frances in turn learned to make pottery from her mother. Mary Frances passed away a few years ago, so Dorothy along with her sisters, Mona and Mary, plus a brother, Edwin are left to carry on her tradition.
