Northern Cheyenne Paint Bag - Mildred Red Cherries

This bag received a 1st Place ribbon at the 1994 Gallup Intertribal Indian Ceremonial, one of the most prestigious juried events for Native American art in the country.  Mildred Red Cherries is a descendant of the Sand Creek Massacre victims and has participated in ongoing research about the Northern Cheyenne people.
