Southwest Jewelry
At Twin Rocks Trading Post, Southwest Jewelry begins with ancient Puebloan stone-cutting techniques found in today’s Santo Domingo jewelry; stone inlay integral to contemporary expressions in Zuni jewelry; and silver techniques mastered by Navajo and Hopi jewelry artisans. Southwest Jewelry also means not just turquoise, but high quality, dramatic, and diverse turquoise. Top grade stones from the Bisbee, Demale, Carico Lake, Kingman, Blue Gem and #8 mines among others are translated into outstanding southwestern necklaces, bracelets, buckles, earrings and rings. Beyond turquoise, we seek the finest in contemporary works using coral, sugilite, lapis, malachite, charoite, and a diversity of agates. Finally, Southwest Jewelry means the best interpretations by native artists such as Will Denetdale, John Begay Jr., John Yazzie, Tommy Jackson and Allison Lee as well as non-native artists Bruce Eckhardt, John Huntress, Kai Gallagher and Jamie Olson.(Continued below)

The term Southwest Jewelry conjures every imaginable image of what modern southwestern design can mean from imported dreamcatcher earrings to a modern jewelry aesthetic which may appear to have little connection with the Southwest. To us, Southwest Jewelry means the merging of outstanding materials and masterful craftsmanship in the invention of heirloom jewelry for any fine collection.
