An artist in every sense of the word, Bernie Tohdacheeny cannot remember a time when he was not carving. Bernie will not even admit to being self-taught, determining rather that his gift is inborn, and he has been driven all of his life in giving voice to his inherent talent and skill. Bernie feels a partnership with the wood he sculpts, believing that he too is no more than a tool, as the wood finds expression through his guiding hands.
