Dora belongs to the Rabbit/Tobacco Clan. She was born in Hotevilla on March 12, 1930, and learned wicker basketry weaving from her mother when she was a teenager. Dora's mother was one of the best basket weavers in the village, especially when it came to the larger and deeper baskets. Dora learned well from her, and she continues her mother's reputation of being one of the best weavers today. (Continue below.)
